Death in coronavirus continues to rise in 6 upazilas of Kushtia. Every day, the death toll is getting new number. Health experts are becoming increasingly worried. They say the prevention process must go on immediately.
In the last 24 hours, 13 more people have died due to corona. Six more died with symptoms at the same time. During this time, 675 samples were tested and 253 corona positive were identified.
The detection rate is 36.48 percent.
In the previous 24 hours, 15 people died of corona. Five more died with symptoms at the same time. During this time, corona of 223 people was identified in 666 sample tests. The detection rate was 33.48 percent.
The deaths were identified from 8am on Monday to 8am today. At the same time, 235 people have recovered from Corona in the district. The previous day, 238 people were cured.
Residential Medical Officer (RMO) of Corona Dedicated Kushtia General Hospital Ashraful Islam told this.
He said all the dead in Carona were undergoing treatment at Kushtia Health Department. On the other hand those who go to the symptoms are admitted to the hospital at different times.
He added that 199 people have been admitted to the 200-bed Corona Dedicated Kushtia General Hospital till 8 am today. The previous day there were 217 people.
There are 3430 people in home isolation in the district till 8 am today. The previous day, it was 3408 people.
At present, in the list of the health department, there are a total of 3629 people undergoing treatment in home isolation and hospital in the district.
So far 13,675 people have been infected with corona in Kushtia. A total of 508 people died in the district.
District Civil Surgeon Anwarul Islam says most people are being infected and dying due to lack of awareness. Case studies on these patients have shown that most people remain completely indifferent to the symptoms of corona, except for specific physical problems.
When they are in extreme danger at the last moment, rushing to the doctor.
In that case there is often nothing to do, he said.
