Meteorologists are hinting of cold wave that may start again from the north in the country in the week.
Officials of the Meteorological Department hinted that if the cold wave starts again, it could become severe.
Meteorologist Abdur Rahman Khan said the cold spell would start from the north and spread to other parts of the country. Until then, the temperature will rise little by little, then suddenly decrease and rise again, but there will be no change.
Meanwhile, the government has allocated blankets or winter clothes all over the country to prevent the suffering of the poor. Adequate winter clothing has already been distributed during the cold spell. When the cold wave starts again, district administrations are ready to provide winter clothes to the extremely poor people.
According to sources in the Disaster Management Department, 26 lakh blankets have been distributed across the country from the Prime Minister's Office. Tk 30 crore has been allocated to the Deputy Commissioners as grants.
