The ongoing closure of educational institutions of the country have been extended till February 14.

Education Minister Dipu Moni informed about this decision after discussing with all the concerned parties Friday (January 29).

Meanwhile, the Education Minister told on Wednesday (January 28th) that all schools and colleges in the country would be reopened by mid-February if the situation of Corona did not appear worsen.

She also told that the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) to prepare a short syllabus.

On January 22, the Department of Secondary and Higher Education issued guidelines to open educational institutions by ensuring hygiene status in the Corona situation. Following this guideline, all educational institutions have been asked to prepare for opening. Then on Thursday (January 26) the field education officials were instructed to monitor the preparation.
