The cleaners and sweepers, belongs to Harijon community in Kushtia have protested by pouring toilet waste in the Judge’s Court premises for not payment of their salary.
A group of waste cleaners staged the protest at the court premises on Wednesday afternoon.
They said that it is becoming impossible to survive with children as they have not received salary for a year and a half.
When talked, they made few allegations on their various issues. They alleged that despite the priority, cleaners and sweepers are being recruited there from other community people.
They stayed on the spot for several hours. After assuring the payment, they, however, withdrew their protest.
