Class party and cultural programmes were held at Kushtia Public School, one of the prominent private educational institutions of Kushtia city on Thursday.
The programme started at 10 am with national anthem in the open stage of the school in the presence of the students, parents and teachers,
Later a discussion meeting was held.
Chairman of Kushtia Public School, writer and researcher Dr. Amanur Aman was present at the event as chief guest.
Head teacher Farzana Akhtar Bobi in the chair, the event was spoke among others by, School MD Imtiaz Sultan, School Director Shahnaz Aman, Assistant Headmaster of Kushtia GK School Md Zakaria, teacher of Kushtia Government College ASM Masudur Rahman.

The chief guest in his speech said that Kushtia Public School has shouldered a heavy responsibility and set the target regarding this. The responsibility is that teaching children by following the right method. School authorities feel that there is a need to change many of the existing methods to educate the children. It should be decorated according to the present era. This work should be done from within the curriculum of the government.
He said that those studying in this school have started reaping the benefits of this exceptional system. Already some batches have passed SSC and are pursuing higher education very well.
Dr. Aman urged the teachers to be more attentive to the students.
