A trial of Chinese vaccine will be conducted on 2100 health workers of seven hospitals in the country. The ICDDRB had mentioned that the vaccine would be given to 4,200 people. Approval on health workers of Mugda Medical College Hospital, Dhaka Medical College Hospital Burn Unit-1, Kurmitola General Hospital, Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College Hospital, Kuwait-Bangladesh Friendship Hospital, Dhaka Medical College Hospital Unit-2 and Dhaka Metropolitan Hospital. Will be done. Earlier, the Bangladesh Medical Research Council (BMRC) had approved the third phase clinical trial of the vaccine.
Basically, the main purpose is to show the effectiveness and acceptability of the vaccine.
The vaccine trial will be usually given among volunteers who are above 18 years of age below 60. All of them should be normally healthy, those who do not have corona or heart disease – some of these criteria should be applied.
