Authorities of Kushtia Islamic University (IU) has brought change in three administrative posts including Registrar. A circular has been released in this regard on Thursday.
Acting Registrar Abdul Latif, accused in various allegations, has been removed from the post. Acting Central Librarian Ataur Rahman has been appointed Acting Registrar. On the other hand, Latif has been appointed as the Central Librarian (Acting).
Professor at the Department of History and Culture Anwar Hossain appointed as transport administrator, while Deputy Chief Engineer Munshi Shahid Md. Tareq has been appointed acting chief engineer.
Besides, the administration has suspended the activities of Nawab Ali Khan, the acting additional registrar, who was appointed to the newly created post violating of the government rules of the previous Vice chancellor Harun ur Rashid Askari alias Rashid Askari and his administration.
All these appointments have been made effective on Thursday (January 14). A notification in this regard said that the appointment will remain in effect till the re-order is given.
