FIFA has also published the rankings in the Corona situation. However, since all sports are closed, there is no change in the chart. So the position of Bangladesh has not been changed. Bangladesh is in 187th place.

The same situation is in the top ten. As usual, Belgium is at the top. France in two, Brazil in three. England, Uruguay, Croatia, Portugal, Spain, Argentina and Colombia are in the next position respectively.

International games have been suspended since the Kovid-19 infection. FIFA and AFC recognized matches are still suspended. Bangladesh also had to face the same situation. The red-greens are playing in the qualifying round of 2022 World Cup and 2023 Asian Cup. Jamie Day’s team last played in Muscat on November 14 last year against Oman. Due to coronavirus, scheduled matches in March and June could not be held. So there was no change in the points of the ranking table.

However, the hopeful news is that Jamal Bhuiyan is going to get a taste of the international match again in October. New dates have been proposed for the World Cup and Asian Cup qualifiers. The matches may be played on October 8 and 13 and November 12 and 17. The schedule was proposed by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) in consultation with FIFA, the world governing body for football.
