Most of the death cause of Corona infected patients in Bangladesh are lung infection. IEDCR of the Department of Health is monitoring the cause of death in Corona in Bangladesh. They have not yet finalized the report.
According to IEDCR sources, the highest number of deaths in hospitals is due to lung infections after infection with Corona. However, most of them already had diabetes and high blood pressure. Many have had heart disease, kidney failure, brain hemorrhage, and cancer.
In addition to IEDCR, other experts have also identified lung infections as the leading cause of death in corona. Bangladesh Medicine Society President and Principal of Mugda Medical College Ahmedul Kabir told that this time the highest number of deaths is due to lung infection. Suddenly, the victims are experiencing severe shortness of breath. In this case, those who already have other complications, the problem is more for them. And the second leading cause of death is diabetes, then hypertension, heart disease and then other chronic diseases.
Professor of Cardiology Afzalur Rahman said that the lungs are mainly infected with corona. The virus then attacks the heart and periodically infects other organs.
Brigadier General Jamil Ahmed, director of Kurmitola General Hospital also expressed similar view. He said the main cause of death in Corona this time was a lung infection. In addition, everyone who comes to the hospital this time has respiratory or lung infections.
