The severity of coronavirus infection continues in Kushtia with affecting 48 more people in last 24 hours. This is the result of sample test of 6 upazilas in the said period.
In the previous 24 hours, there were 57 people were found Coronavirus positive in the district. The number of victims in the district at the moment stands at 1528. It is the second highest among 10 districts of Khulna division. Khulna district is most affected.
A total of 373 samples (Kushtia 179, Chuadanga 88, Jhenaidah 82 and Meherpur 24) were tested on July 29 in the PCR lab of Kushtia Medical College.
Total 48 was identified Corona positive from 179 samples in Kushtia. Among them 32 are from Kushtia Sadar Upazila, 3 from Daulatpur Upazila, 3 from Kumarkhali Upazila, 7 from Mirpur Upazila and 3 from Bheramara Upazila.
On the other hand, 25 new corona patients have been identified from Chuadanga district, 34 from Jhenaidah district and 11 from Meherpur district. Follow-up reports of 9 people from Kushtia district, 6 people from Chuadanga district and 1 person from Jhenaidah district are positive.
The rest of the results are negative 6.
