Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) President Hasanul Haque Inu MP said Awami League has to face 4 dangers in coming days. But Awami League alone does not have the ability to deal with these.
“Here there is no alternative to strengthen the 14-party alliance to protect Bangladesh from these 4 dangers, Inu said.
The JSD leader mentions these dangers are market syndicates, resource grabbers, authoritarianism and attempts to establish abnormal governments.
He said Awami League's go-it-alone policy is finally suicidal.
He said, the 14-party alliance is an ideological alliance of the supporters of the liberation war and the progressive parties. It is not possible for Awami League alone to deal with 4 dangers.
Therefore, the next election should be held with a strong position of the 14-party alliance.
He said this at the Khulna Divisional Conference of JSD at Kushtia District Shilpakala Academy on Monday afternoon.
Inu started the conference by hoisting the national and party flags along with the leaders of 10 districts and a metropolitan committee of the division.
JSD Executive President Bir Muktijoddha Advocate Rabiul Alam presided over the conference while it was addressed by Party General Secretary Shirin Akhtar MP and local leaders.
Inu said it is difficult to understand which direction the Awami League wants to go after leaving a tested regional alliance. If they think the platform is no longer needed. They will make mistake. Many had made such mistakes in the past. They had to pay for this.
Inu said Awami League is not an ordinary party. It is a leading party in the country’s liberation war.
The sacrifices to achieve freedom should be kept at home. May not be handed over to others. Others did not appreciate it so much.
