Kushtia Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mohammad Saidul Islam said the administration is working to remove all complications on the way to get birth registration certificate.
He said in some cases still some complications are sometimes found. If all concerned work together, it can be solved.
He said this while addressing as chief guest in a discussion meeting on National Birth and Death Registration Day in Kushtia. This meeting was held in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner at 10 am today Thursday.
DC said many applicants often forget to follow the proper process. It creates another complication on the way to swift process. The form ill-up process should also be done properly. He also requested the certificate seekers to complete the form filling process more accurately.
He said that the current government is working tirelessly to bring digital services to people’s doorsteps. Necessary steps will be taken in future so that service aspirants can easily get birth registration certificate without any hassle.
Deputy Director of Local Government Section Md. Arif-Uz-Zaman presided over the discussion meeting which was attended by Union Parishad Chairman, Secretaries, civil society representatives and officials of various departments.
Executive Magistrate Kazi Sharmin Newaz conducted the discussion meeting.
