The matter revealed after a meeting of the vice-chancellors of all public universities on Saturday. The meeting was attended by the Vice Chancellors of 48 public universities of the country.
Bangabandhu Digital University Vice-Chancellor Professor Monaj Ahmed Noor has invented an apps for this purpose.
Admission test will be taken in five stages in a coordinated manner in agriculture, engineering and general universities. Among them, three examinations will be conducted for science, commerce and humanities departments in the general university. A software is being developed for testing. It is named ‘Proctor Remote Exam System (Procus)’. It will be possible to take admission test and internal academic test using it.
Students will be able to participate in the university admission test online or offline at home. An app will be created for this. It has to be downloaded on mobile or computer. Video, audio and still pictures of the position of the automatic examinee will be uploaded before the start of the test. It will not be possible to adopt any kind of dishonesty as everything will be recorded. If anyone tries to do so, it will be caught by video and audio. If such evidence is found, his test will be canceled.
Software and apps will be created with the efforts of the entire country. It will not cost too much. It will be given free of cost in all universities. Private universities will also be able to take exams through it. It is also possible to take admission test, internal test and teacher recruitment test. The cost of making it will be sought from the UGC.
