The government has cleared that it is not compulsory for all teachers to come to educational institutions (schools and colleges) during the ongoing Corona pandemic holidays.
On Tuesday (October 13), the Department of Secondary and Higher Education under the Ministry of Education clarified the matter in a letter to the field level education officials.
In response to a letter from the department in last September, the educational institutions across the country forced all teachers to come to many institutions. This causes adverse reactions.
According to the Monitoring and Evaluation Wing of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education, not all teachers need to come to school.
Deputy Director of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education (Monitoring and Evaluation Wing) Professor Amir Hossain has been sent to all regional directors of the department, all district education officers and upazila / thana secondary education officers in this regard.
A copy of the letter was also given to the office of the Minister of Education, Deputy Minister, Secretary informing the matter.
