On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, the leaders and activists of Kushtia Islamic University unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) have distributed Eid gifts among the lower income employees, shopkeepers and the poor adjacent to the campus and inside the University.
They distributed the materials in front of the ‘Mrityunjayi Mujib’ mural on campus around 11:30 am on Thursday (30 July).
According to the leaders and activists, the Eid gifts were distributed among 100 poor and helpless people. Fifty men were given one lungi and an equal number of women were given one sari as a gift.
Chhatra League leaders Taukir Mahfuz Masud, Sheikh Mizanur Rahman Lalon and Faisal Siddiqui Arafat were present at the time-Alamin Joarddar, Bipul Khan, Hossain Majumder, Hafiz, Raju and others.
BCL leader Sheikh Mizanur Rahman Lalon said, Soldiers of Bangabandhu’s ideology stand by humanity in any catastrophic environment of the country. As a part of it, “this is our small effort to spread the joy of Eid among the people lives in the lane during this corona disaster.
