Jhenaidah Municipality Mayor also District Awami League General Secretary Saidul Karim Mintu has infected with coronavirus (Covid-19). He himself informed the matter on his Facebook. His report came positive on Sunday (July 19) night.
He wrote, ‘Today my corona result has been positive. Therefore, I say again, all of you will follow the hygiene rules.
Saidul Karim wrote, ‘No one will leave the house without mask in case of emergency. Be aware of yourself and make others aware. I have been working day and night for your well-being since the beginning of the coronavirus situation. But even then it seemed like I couldn’t do anything. So, to myself I feel guilty. Even then, I will try my best to work for you from home at this moment. In Jhenaidah, as in the rest of the country, the number of victims has increased and is increasing too. We all need to be more careful now. None leaves the house unnecessarily. Awareness needs to be raised, not to be panic about corona.
According to family sources, Mintu felt fever and headache last Thursday. His sample was given for testing on Friday. A day later, his corona came positive. He is currently in isolation at home and is in good health.
