A representative of a pharmaceutical company has died at Paikpara village in the upazila in Alamdanga upazila of Chuadanga with of symptoms of coronavirus on Wednesday evening.
The deceased was identified as named Feroz Mahmud Sabdul, 45, son of Khademul Islam Mandal of the same village
The Upazila Health Department has collected samples from his body after his death.
According to locals, Feroz Mahmud Sabdul was working as a representative of a pharmaceutical company in Gopalganj district. He had been suffering from fever, cold and cough while at work. He came home later and was undergoing treatment. He died at his home on Wednesday evening after his condition deteriorated. His body was buried at the local cemetery after Janazah.
Alamdanga Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Hadi Zia Uddin Ahmed Saeed said that Feroz Mahmud Sabdul died with corona symptoms. Later, a team from the Upazila Health Complex collected samples from his body.
