Shahed cried while standing on the doc and said that he himself is a patient Corona (Covid-19) patient. His father died of corona.
He told the judge to the Dhaka Chief Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court when his remand hearing was going on Thursday (July 17th).
The police took Saheed to court for 10 days remand. After the state hearing, the judge asked him if he had anything to say. Then, standing on the doc, Shahed said these things in a tearful voice, claiming him to be a corona patient.
Following the hearing, the judge granted a 10-day remand. Another accused in the same case, Tariqul Islam alias Tareq Shibli, was remanded for five days and then remanded for another 10 days. Following the hearing, the judge granted a seven-day remand.
