More 36 people has been identified as Corona (Covid-19) patients in last 24 hours in Kushtia. The number of corona cases stood at 966 in 6 upazilas in the district.
A total of 358 samples were tested on July 12 in Kushtia Medical College PCR lab. Of those, Kushtia had 203.
Among the victims are 21 from Kushtia Sadar Upazila, 5 from Daulatpur Upazila, 4 from Kumarkhali Upazila, 3 from Khoksa Upazila, 1 from Bheramara Upazila and 2 from Mirpur Upazila.
Among the 21 people affected in Kushtia Sadar Upazila : 1 in Housing, 1 in Alpha More, 4 in Thanapara, 1 in Talipara, 1 in Swastipur, 1 in Jotpara, 1 in Housing, 2 in Aruapara, 1 in Kumargarh, 2 in Chowdhury. Trimahoni 1, Lahinipara 1, Kalishankarpur 1, Kushtia Sadar 1, Rajar Hat Mor 1.
Among the 5 people affected in Daulatpur upazila : Allardarga 1, Dutch Bangla Bank 1, Hogalbaria 1, Upazila Parishad 1, Garbaria 1. Two people were in Mirpur upazila and one in Naodapara. 3 affected people of Khoksa Upazila from Osmanpur, Upazila Health Complex, Janipur. Address of 4 victims of Kumarkhali Upazila Sadaki, Upazila Parishad Quarter, Laxmipur, Agrani Bank. The address of 1 victim of Bheramara upazila is Thakur Daulatpur.
Besides, samples of 43 people from Chuadanga, 6 from Jhenaidah, 19 from Meherpur and 6 from Narail were tested in PCR lab.
Of those, 10 new corona patients have been identified in Chuadanga district, 36 in Jhenaidah district and 4 in Meherpur district. Besides, follow-up report of 1 person of Kushtia Sadar Upazila is positive. The rest of the results are negative 6
