Police on Tuesday (July 7) have arrested 12 activists of ruling Awami League (AL) in connection of clash at Sandiara village on July 5 (Monday) that left one people killed.
Meanwhile, three cases have been filed in connection of the incident.
The conflicting ruling party factions filed two cases against each other and police have one case for attacking the police and obstructing government work.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kumarkhali Police Mojibur Rahman told that police made several raids at the areas after filing the case and arrested 12 people of both groups.
He said total 115 people have been accused in 3 cases.
