The number of infected patients in 10 districts of Khulna division is 3,860. Newly infected 256 people have been identified. Total three more people have died and with this total death toll stood in 55.

Khulna Divisional Health Department on Sunday (June 28) revealed it.

Meanwhile, about half of the total patients in the division are from Khulna district. The number of infected patients in this district is 1684. In other words, about 35 percent of the patients in the division are of Khulna city.

Kushtia is after Khulna. A total of 541 people were affected in the district. Kushtia has the third highest death rate.

Of the newly infected people 133 are in Khulna district, 21 in Bagerhat, 15 in Satkhira, 6 in Jessore, 20 in Jhenaidah, 22 in Magura, 13 in Narail, 6 in Kushtia, 6 in Chuadanga and 11 in Meherpur.

So far, a total of 1,684 people have been infected in Khulna, 18 in Bagerhat, 174 in Satkhira, 522 in Jessore, 175 in Jhenaidah, 119 in Magura, 169 in Narail, 541 in Kushtia, 212 in Chuadanga and 60 in Meherpur.

According to the department, 55 people have died in the division so far. The highest death toll was 20 in Khulna, 8 in Jessore, 7 in Kushtia and six in Narail.

Besides, five patients died in Meherpur, three in Bagerhat and two each in Jhenaidah, Magura and Chuadanga.

So far, 186 people have recovered in Khulna, 59 in Bagerhat, 42 in Satkhira, 164 in Jessore, 78 in Jhenaidah, 45 in Magura, 56 in Narail, 179 in Kushtia, 116 in Chuadanga and 24 in Meherpur.
The first Kovid-19 patient was identified in Chuadanga on March 19 in Khulna division. In the next 63 days this number stood at 500. On June 11, the 75th day, the number of infections here is less than a thousand. June 18, the 90th day, without the number of one and a half thousand patients. And without the number of two thousand patients on June 20, the 94th day. June 22, the 98th day without two and a half thousand. June 25, 99th day without three thousand. On June 101, the number of patients exceeded three and a half thousand.
