Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni said the university admission process will be completed by preparing a national merit list coming from only one test.
“We have noticed some limitations with the ongoing cluster approach in university admission. This method will be combined with a running process to overcome the limitations and we hope all problems will be overcome in the future,” she said.

The Education Minister said that from next year, like other countries, all universities will participate in only one examination. There will be a national merit list, admission will be made according to that list.
Later, the minister joined the fair.
In the chair of National University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Moshiur Rahman, the occasion was addressed among others by Former Vice Chancellor of Jahangirnagar University Professor Dr. Sharif Enamul Kabir, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. The minister also said that ragging is a particular problem. A culture against the misdeed must be developed.
She said that ragging is absolutely prohibited.
“We are trying to stop ragging from all educational institutions. Ragging is a problem like any other social problem. Not only by law or by teachers, a mindset and a culture against ragging should be developed.
The Education Minister said that ragging is still happening in many parts of the world despite everyone’s quest and laws exist. Many students’ lives are destroyed by this. No one wants it. Everyone has to work together to stop ragging, the media also has a role to play.
