The entire areas of Kushtia municipality will be brought under heavy check. The step will be effected from tomorrow, June 25. All kinds of shops will be closed except for daily necessities, medicines and emergency services.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the District Corona Prevention Committee.

Deputy Commissioner Aslam Hossain presided over the meeting held at the Deputy Commissioner’s office on Wednesday.

Under the decision, all kinds of shops except for daily necessities, medicines and emergency services will come under close. Public gatherings will also be regulated, all types of traffic will be checked.

Kushtia Sadar Upazila Nibarhi Officer Zobayer Hossain Chowdhury told this.

He said the decision was taken at an emergency meeting of the Corona Prevention Committee in Kushtia due to the continuing deterioration of the Corona situation in th district.
So far, 434 cases have been identified in Kushtia since March 23.

Today (Wednesday, June 24) two have been people died during treatment.

With this total death case with official records and out of it stood in six.

Various sources including involved in working in prevention to the Virus alleged that people in Kushtia are not following any rules and regulations to prevent corona. Despite being strict, they are not going to be controlled.

However, the UNO said that the administration will be stricter from tomorrow.
