Bangladesh recorded another death from Covid-19 with ten more Covid cases in 24 hours till Saturday morning, reports UNB.
With the new numbers, the country’s total loss rose to 29,442 and the caseload to 2,037,516, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (in short, DGHS).
The daily reports of Covid positive cases dropped by 0.46 per cent from Friday’s 0.85 per cent as 2,155 samples were tested.
The mortality rate remained unchanged at 1.44 per cent though the recovery rate rose to 97.78 per cent.
Bangladesh testified its maximum daily caseload of 16,230 on 28 July in 2021 and daily fatalities of 264 on 5 August of the same year.
