When cold wave is moving across several districts with varying locality, then the Department of Meteorology cautioned that another cold weather with drizzling is coming again in most parts of the country.
Besides, though the temperature will rise slightly on Friday (January 13), a cold wave will pass over several districts including the northern region.
In the forecast, the department also told that the temperature of the country may rise slightly on Friday. However, light and drizzle may occur in southern parts of the country from Saturday.
The sky may remain partly cloudy in the rest of the country. On Sunday or the following day, the cold may intensify. However, this time there will be a cold in the north and south-western parts of the country.
Shahinur Islam, a meteorologist of the Meteorological Department, said that due to clouds and drizzle in the sky, the temperature may increase slightly in the next couple of days. If the clouds and rain are gone, another round of cold will fall. Due to this, winter may increase in most parts of the country.
At present, mild to moderate cold current is blowing in 26 districts of the country.
Mild to moderate cold current is flowing over Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions including Tangail, Faridpur, Madaripur, Gopalganj, Manikagganj, Jessore, Kushtia Chuadanga, Barisal and Bhola districts.
