BSF shot dead Bangladeshi in Satkhira border

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) shot dead a Bangladeshi youth in Satkhira border.
The incident took place at Kaijuri area of India opposite to Khaitla border of Satkhira Sadar Upazila in Bangladesh around 4 am on Sunday (October 9).
The deceased was identified as Hasanur Rahman (25), son of Haider Ali of Kushkhali village of Satkhira Sadar Upazila.
Haider Ali, the father of the deceased, told that his son Hasanur Rahman crossed the border few days ago to visit a relative’s house in India without passport.
On Sunday morning, along with some companions, Hasanur was returning home across the Indian border.
On the way, patrolling BSF personnel of India’s Kaijuri camp opened fire on them leaving him severely injured.
He was rescued and admitted him to Satkhira Sadar Hospital around 6:30 am. Doctors advised to take him to Khulna medical College hospital as his condition deteriorated. He was succumbed when was sifting at around 7:30 am.
Satkhira BGB-33 battalion captain Lt. Colonel Mohammad Al-Mahmood PSC said that the BSF has been contacted. They initially denied the matter.
Latter has been sent asking flag meeting.
