Voters have been warned that they will have to pay the ultimate price if they do not cast for boat again. It has been told that none of you will get any spare.  List is being prepared things will have to receive after the election.

“Voting will only be take place anywhere for boat,”

And one who has made it is Milon Mandol, president of Haripur Union unit of Awami League of Kushtia Sadar Upazila.

He made the remarks at an election rally for the chairman candidate of boat symbol on Tuesday night (December 22).

In a video of 3 minutes, 56 seconds, where it is seen that Awami League nominated chairman candidate Shampa Mahmud was holding the meeting with union Awami League leaders and activists. Union Awami League president gave this speech there.

Milon said in his speech that no one will dare to come to play with the boat. No one will sidekick with the blood of Awami League. Any disrespect with Awami League will not be tolerated.

“I don’t think it’s right for you to stand (election) against AL. Haripur Union is the only development union of Hanif Bhai (Mahbubul Alam Hanif, joint general secretary of AL) What you have given that you stand to vote against the boat? You don’t have the power to give, you can’t even give. We want to say that it is a matter of your great fortune for those of you who are living in Haripur, and sleeping in peace despite of resisting the boat. Because Awami League does not believe in oppression. You will only take advantage. And will vote by deceiving the people.”

Milon said, “I want to tell the union people clearly that the election will end on January 5 but the Awami League government will not end.”

“But we will identify every of you. It may be that I will not allow you to enjoy the development that the government has made in this union.”

“Don’t go out of the boat, no one can save you. No one can stand by your danger.
I urge the general people to vote for anyone who can benefit you,” he said.

However, this statement has sparked criticism after the outbreak of the video on social media.
The cell phone was found switched off after multiple attempts to contact with Milon Mandal.

Although he was approached by an alternative way, the phone also was switched off as soon as heard it journalist.

Independent chairman candidate of the Union Parishad, journalist Hasan Ali told that independent voting is the right of the voters. He urged everyone to maintain peace in the election.
