Kushtia Nagorik Committee (KNC) has donated Tk 50,000 to a kidney patient.

On behalf of the committee, a team handed over the aid to the patient’s family on Friday (August 8).

According to the patient’s family, the money will be spent on the kidney transplant of the patient.

President of the Citizens Committee, former principal of Kushtia Medical College, Professor SM Mustanjid, General Secretary, former Treasurer of Islamic University, Professor. Dr. M Selim Toha, Joint General Secretary, Managing Director of Kushtia Sono Hospital Shamsul Wase, Executive Board Member, Kushtia Chamber of Commerce Vice President SM Quadery Shakil, businessman Biswajit Saha Santu and writer and researcher also The Kushtia Times editor and publisher Dr. Amanur Aman was present among others.

Professor Dr. SM Mustanjid has been communicating on advancement of the treatment and kidney transplant of the patient in Dhaka. At the same time, Kushtia Sono Hospital also helping the patient to get kidney dialysis in a special commission.

The family of the patient informed that they will soon shift the patient to Dhaka for kidney transplant.
