According to Kushtia district administration sources, 228 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. Of these, 177 were in PCR lab of Kushtia Medical College and 51 in Rapid Kit.
The highest number of victims 27 were in Kushtia Sadar Upazila. Then there are 15 people in Kumarkhali. In the previous 24 hours, the number of sample tests was 115.
Meanwhile, health experts say the district headquarters is very sensitive. The rate of infection is always high here. Although it is due to population density and predominance of different classes of occupations, the most risky place in the district is Kushtia city and surrounding areas.
Earlier on June 1, the district Corona Prevention Committee in a meeting insisted on increasing the public awareness and sample test to prevent the Indian type of corona or corona without imposing lockdown in Kushtia at the moment.

Kushtia General Hospital has 348 small and large cylinders. It can supply a minimum of 600 liters to a maximum of 2,000 liters of oxygen. At present 10 to 12 people are being given full time oxygen in Corona ward. The hospital has central oxygen system. There are 14 high flow nasal cannulas (HFNCs) that supply high levels of oxygen. But three are wasted.
In Kushtia district, samples of 51,224 people have been tested so far and corona positive of 5,063 people have been identified.
Former principal of Kushtia Medical College, Professor Dr SM Mustanjid says the situation in Corona could change at any moment. We have to keep a watchful eye on that.
Chairman of Sammilito Samajik Jote, Kushtia Dr. Amanur Aman said that a decision taken does not mean that it has to be fixed. Decisions have to be made according to the situation.
Kushtia Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Saidul Islam said the situation is being monitored.
