Social organization Youth Power Community distributed food among the street children on the occasion of its first founding anniversary.

The food was distributed at the head office of Sapna Prayas Youth Organization at RC RC Road in the city yesterday (April 5) afternoon.

President of the Central Council of the organization Shahriar Nafiz presided over the event, while writer and researcher Dr. Amanur Aman, Chief adviser of the organization, chairman of Sammilita Samajik Jote, editor and publisher of Bangla daily Dainik Kushtia and The Kushtia Times distributed the items as chief guest.

Dr. Aman in his speech told that the social organizations have extended their hand of cooperation to the neglected children of Kushtia in various ways. Adolescents and youth are involved in these organizations. They run these organizations in their hard-earned savings money.

He urged everyone to come forward with such initiatives.

Sadiq Hasan Rahid, president of Swapna Prayas Youth Association, Shahabuddin Sheikh, headmaster of Kushtia Public School, Azgar Ali and Asif Mortaba, advisory members of the organization. Nabila Ehsan, co-president of the central council, Abdullah Al Ahad, general secretary and Marjan Zaman Rahi, General Secretary Arefin Faisal, Joint General Secretary Nafiz Iqbal, Hasib, Jitu, Shantana, Dollar, Sanjid, Brishti and other associates were present.
