The gift of food items of Prime Minister has been distributed among 133 families in Kushtia municipal area who were stranded at home or lost their jobs in the lockdown announced by the government.

Kushtia Deputy Commissioner (DC) was distributed the items as chief guest held at Kushtia Sheikh Kamal Stadium.
Deputy Director of Local Government, Kushtia Mrinal Kanti Dey and Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Obaidur Rahman and other officials of the district administration were present on the occasion.
At the same time, the deputy commissioner said the government must help those who have lost their jobs due to the ongoing ban on the spread of corona virus. The government wants no one to suffer.
The Minister’s gift items were handed over to 133 needy families including Vedas, Hijras and Harijans.
He said the distribution of PM’s food items among the unemployed and distressed people in the district would continue.
