Khulna and Kushtia districts are on the top of Corona infection and mortality among the 10 districts in Khulna division.

Out of these 10 districts, Khulna district has the highest rate of infection and mortality. Kushtia district is in the second position.

On the other hand, the lowest is in Meherpur district.

In Khulna division, 16 people have died due to corona in the last 10 days. So far, the death toll in Corona has risen to 535.

From March 10 in last year, the counting of corona test was started in Khulna division. So far, 525 people have died till April 19. Khulna has the highest number of deaths where so far 133 people have died.

The lowest death toll was in Meherpur, where 17 people have died so far.

Kushtia is in second place with 102 deaths. Besides, 68 in Jessore, 49 in Jhenaidah, 48 in Chuadanga, 37 in Satkhira, 30 in Bagerhat, 22 in Magura and 21 in Narail.

Khulna Divisional Health Director Rasheda Sultana confirmed this and said that so far 30,109 people have been infected with corona in Khulna Division till 1pril 19.

Of them 26 thousand 881 people are living a normal life after recovering. Three thousand 652 people are admitted in different hospitals of the division.
