Students have been asked to apply for the 2020-21 academic year from April 1 to April 15 for the universities are following cluster process of admission test. The test will start from June 19.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the core committee comprising the vice-chancellors held at the meeting room of the vice-chancellor of Jagannath University on Monday (March 8).
Students do not have to pay any fee for initial application.

Students who have passed HSC /Alim and equivalent examinations in 2019 or 2020 can apply.

Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 8.0 for the science group,  a minimum GPA of 7.5 for the commerce branch, and a minimum GPA of 7.0 for the humanities. However, each group must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 in the SSC and HSC examinations.

HSC pass students in 2019 and 2020 will be able to participate in the admission test for this year only. The students passed Passers of the previous year i.e. second timer students will not be able to apply. Out of the initial applicants, the results of the students who are eligible to participate in the admission test on the basis of merit will be informed automatically through the message on 23rd April.

The students will be given the opportunity to make the final application on the basis of merit. Initially, the selected students have to make a final application for participation in the admission test between April 24 and May 20 by depositing Tk 500 through the mobile banking service.

All tests will start at 12 noon at the specified center. A student can select at least 5 test centers. Students who have passed 2019 will not be able to choose the educational institution they are currently studying as a ‘center’. If necessary, the test may be given outside the selected center. Applicants will be able to download the entry form between 1st and 10th June.
