An abducted Kushtia schoolboy narrowly saved him escaping from the clutch of the captors in Rajshahi.
The boy was identified as Nasimul Islam, son of Hamidul Islam of Aruapara area in Kushtia town. He is a student of class VII at a school in Kushtia town.
According to the boy, some masked men forcibly picked him on a black colour micro when he was crossing a road at Aruapara area at about 4.30:pm of Monday. The boy lost consciousness. He was taken to Rajshahi.
Later at around 9 pm on the same night, the microbus was stopped at Shiroil bus terminal in Rajshahi and the masked men got down. The boy gained consciousness. Seeing open the door of the micro, the boy got down and fled.
The boy reached to a nearby home and detailed the matter to Nizam Uddin, the house owner.
Nizam instantly informed the matter to Touhidul Haque Sumon who is a Ward Commissioner of Rajshahi City Corporation. The ward Commissioner communicated with the family of the victim in Kushtia.
The boy was handed over to Chandrima police station on the night.
Family of the boy brought him back to Kushtia on Tuesday.
Police is looking after the matter.
