The Islamic University (IU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Sheikh Abdus Salam visited various works of mega projects under construction at the campus.

On Tuesday, he made a sudden visit IU Laboratory School and College (5 storey horizontal and upward extension 2-3 storeys), residential building (10 storey upward extension 8-10 storeys), nuclear scientist Dr. M. A. Wazed Mia Science Building (upstairs extension 3-5 storeys), Dormitory-2 (upstairs extension 4-5 storeys), Mir Mosharraf Hossain Academic building (upstairs expansion 4th floor), Medical Center (Upward Expansion 5-6 Floors), Rabindra-Nazrul Kala Bhavan (Upward Expansion 3rd Floor) and TSCC (Upward Expansion 2nd Floor).

During the inspection, he inquired about the overall construction work.

High officials and team members of different technical committees were present with the vice chancellor.
