One more people has died in 24 hours in Kushtia with Covid-19. With this total death toll stood into 86. The deceased’s house is in Mirpur upazila of the district.

Beside, 12 people have been newly infected at the time.

A total of 180 samples were tested on December 14 in the PCR lab of Kushtia Medical College (Kushtia 123, Chuadanga 32, Jhenaidah 19 and Meherpur 6).

Among them, 9 new corona patients were identified in Kushtia Sadar upazila, 2 in Kumarkhali upazila and 1 in Daulatpur upazila.

On the other hand, 4 new corona patients have been identified from Chuadanga district, 1 from Jhenaidah district and 1 from Meherpur district.

Address of 9 affected people in Kushtia Sadar Upazila: Aruapara 1, Thana Para 3, KGH 3, Amla Para 1 and Majampur 1. Address of 2 victims in Kumarkhali Upazila: Sonali Bank 2 people. Address of 1 person affected in Daulatpur Upazila: Dighalkandi Jhaudia 1 person.

So far, the total number of corona positive patients in Kushtia is 3707, out of which 3503 have recovered and a total of 86 have died.
