Kushtia Deputy Commissioner and District Magistrate Aslam Hossain visited the office of the Upazila Nirbahi Officer in Kumarkhali Upazila as part of his pre-arranged programme.

He provided important guidance on office management, including reducing the complexity of certificate cases and coordinating development work.

During this time he met in a yard meeting and exchange of views. There, he said, the service for the people in the country have been multiplied during the tenure of the present government. These services must be delivered to the doorsteps of the people. Government officials need to be more efficient in their work.

Later, the Deputy Commissioner visited the Upazila Land Office. Here he provided valuable advices on land affairs, including record correction, release of khas land and eviction. The Deputy Commissioner then visited one hose, one farm (Ekti bari, ekti khamar) project and inquired about various issues of the borrowers.

He visited the Municipal Land Office, 2 Community Clinics, 01 NGO and 01 Shelter Project. 

During the visit, he gave instructions on various issues including proper implementation of government development activities and conducting awareness campaigns on prevention of social crimes. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Rajibul Islam Khan and Assistant Commissioner (Land) and officials of local concerned departments were present during all these activities.
